Jesus Manitoba Festival Inc.

Jesus Manitoba Festival Inc. (Jesus ManiFest) is a non profit corporation that was incorporated in 1994. We have a board of directors, from a number of local Christian Churches and is run totally by volunteers, with the exception of professional sound and lighting technicians, etc.

Jesus Manitoba Festival Mission Statement:

Jesus Manitoba Festival Inc. is dedicated to glorify Jesus’ name by spreading the truth of God’s word with integrity and excellence, through music and other ministries. Our commitment is to help others know Jesus personally and encourage those who do.

Purpose for producing a Christian Music Festival:

1. To share the gospel of Jesus Christ in a contemporary setting and encourage people to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
2. To encourage Christians from different churches to fellowship together.
3. To provide wholesome, safe family activity in a positive setting.
4. To show the non-Christian community that we as Christians can have a lot of wholesome fun and worship our God together.
5. To work with other charities in promotion and fundraising.
6. To encourage Canadian Christian musicians in their ministry and give them exposure to the public.
7. To provide other Christian entertainment throughout the year sharing the message of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Vision Statement:

Our desire is to produce an event that gives opportunity for the entire family to have a weekend outing that is safe and exciting, spiritually refreshing, challenging, affordable, and a great time for all. It is our prayer that people will be challenged with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and lives will be changed by the power of God.

Jesus Manifest Statement of Faith:

  • We believe in one God, Creator of all things, who exists in three persons- Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
    - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19,20
  • The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, complete and without error.
    - All Scripture is God – breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16
  • People are sinful by nature and in need of a Savior.
    - For all have sinned and falling short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
  • The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, sent by God to provide the plan of salvation by shedding His blood for our sins on the cross of Calvary.
    - The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of the heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! ...In the same way, he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies. In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:13-14; 21-22
    - This is how the birth of Jesus came about. His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit...she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus. Matthew 1:18,25
  • Jesus Christ physically died and rose from the dead. He then appeared to many before ascending to the Father in heaven where He is preparing a place for those who are saved. Jesus Christ is coming back for all who have put their trust in Him. _
    - In my Father's house are many rooms; if it where not so I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14: 2,3
    - Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was Buried and theft, He arose again on the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15: 3b,4.
  • We are saved and justified when we recognize ourselves as sinners and put our trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and His finished work on the cross. Salvation is by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ.
    - For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8,9
    - That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth you confess and are saved. Romans 10: 9,10
  • When we receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and His power.
    - Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our heart as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 2 Corinthians 1: 21,22
