Gospel Elvis
“I played instruments and sang copying many gospel singing groups. Finding as a teenager, that my voice closely resembled Elvis’ voice, I wondered how this talent could be used for God. After Bible School and much service in the church, several prophetic words pointed to God using my talents uniquely in evangelism. As doors opened, God gave new gospel lyrics to nearly 130 Elvis tunes. Dressed in full costume, I began putting on entertaining, enjoyable and impacting concert events that draw a high percentage of unsaved people. Instead of burying this talent, I now use it as a tool of evangelism. Jesus said to become fishers of men. This is one way to put bait on the hook that’s of interest to the fish God wants us to catch. This ministry has taken me all across Canada, down to Florida, through Louisiana, Texas, California and many other US states. Thousands have heard the clear gospel message sung and preached to them. God is still the best promoter. Praise the Lord!”
